From 21 to 29 August 2025, Spanish Alicante became the stage for the youth exchange GEN EU: United We Play organized by Cazalla Intercultural, welcoming young participants aged 13 to 15 from Spain, France (Pistes Solidaires), Italy (TDM2000), Poland (Fundacja CAT), and North Macedonia (Poraka Nova). The exchange aimed to introduce the youngest generation to European values, active citizenship, and the opportunities offered by Erasmus+.

Throughout the week, participants explored their identities as young Europeans while discussing stereotypes, prejudices, and the idea of creating their “ideal country.” Workshops on Youthpass Key Competences and interactive activities encouraged them to reflect on the role they can play in shaping the future. As part of a practical participation we had creative group challenges that brought out teamwork and leadership skills, and open discussions about human rights and fairness.
