Brussels, Belgium – November 18th, 2025
After two years of collaboration, innovation, and youth engagement across Europe, the European Citizenship Academy (ECA) project is coming to its grand conclusion! The Final Event will take place in Brussels on November 18th, 2025, bringing together young participants, project partners, policymakers, and key stakeholders to celebrate the project’s results and look ahead to the future of active European citizenship.
The ECA project has united youth exchanges and partner organizations from across Europe to strengthen European citizenship, foster intercultural dialogue, and develop innovative educational tools that make learning about the EU accessible and engaging for young people. Over two years, ECA has empowered youth to better understand Europe, participate actively in civic life, and shape the continent’s shared future.
This final gathering is not only a celebration but also a space for reflection and co-creation. Together, participants and invited guests will explore the impact of youth participation in Europe, share lessons learned, and discuss new ways to inspire engagement at the European level.
The day will begin with partners meeting and after the meeting an immersive visit to the Parlamentarium, in the European Parliament’s interactive visitor center. Participants will explore how European democracy works and how citizens’ voices shape EU policies — a perfect introduction connecting ECA’s mission to the broader European context. Afterwards the Final ECA event will take place where presentation about the outcomes will be done by the project leader organization Pistes Solidaries.
